How to configure your humidifier, dehumidifier, or ventilator with your Touch 2 when installed with an EIM
When you have a Sensi EIM and Sensi Touch 2, you can control your indoor air quality equipment: Humidification, Dehumidification, and/or Ventilation. The EIM has 3 universal terminals U1, U2, U3 to install your indoor air quality equipment on. * Any combination of relays (U1, U2, U3) can be used. Once installed by an HVAC professional they will need to configure your indoor air quality equipment.
Humidification
- At the thermostat, press Menu
- Tap Advanced Setup
- Select On to configure humidification
- Choose your humidity percentage
- Tap Use Humidification
- This allows you to select when you want to run the humidifier. During a call for cool, heat, or fan only. Or you can select Independent Humidification.
- On this screen you also have the option to set up Auto Humidity Reduction
- Once you have selected your options hit the back arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to the thermostat home screen.
Dehumidification
Overcooling
- At the thermostat, press Menu
- Tap Advanced Setup
- Press Dehumidifier
- Select Basic or Dynamic
- Choose your Overcool dehumidify percentage
Wired
- At the thermostat, press Menu
- Tap Advanced Setup
- Press Dehumidifier
- Select On to configure dehumidification
- Choose your dehumidification percentage
- Tap Use Dehumidification
- This allows you to select when you want to run the dehumidifier. During a call for cool, heat, or fan only. Or you can select Independent Dehumidification.
- Once you have selected your options hit the back arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to the thermostat home screen.
Ventilation
With Limits
- At the thermostat, press Menu
- Tap Advanced Setup
- Press Ventilator
- Select With Limits
- Choose your Runtime (minutes per hour)
- Tap Outdoor Air Humidity Limits
- Enable Minimum and/or Maximum Humidity Limit
- Choose your Humidity Limit percentage
- Once you have selected your options, hit the back arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to the Ventilator settings.
- Tap Outdoor Air Temperature Limits
- Enable Minimum and/or Maximum Temperature Limit
- Choose your
- Once you hTemperature Limitave selected your options, hit the back arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to the Ventilator settings.
- Tap Mixing
- You can enable your ventilator to help cool with outdoor air and/or help heat with outdoor air
- Select the temperature you wish to use to help cool with outdoor air
- Select the temperature you wish to use to help heat with outdoor air
- Once you have selected your options hit the back arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to the thermostat home screen
Minimum
- At the thermostat, press Menu
- Tap Advanced Setup
- Press Ventilator
- Select Minimum
- Choose your Runtime (minutes per hour)
- Tap Mixing
- You can enable your ventilator to help cool with outdoor air and/or help heat with outdoor air
- Select the temperature you wish to use to help cool with outdoor air
- Select the temperature you wish to use to help heat with outdoor air
- Once you have selected your options hit the back arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to the thermostat home screen
