Thermostat Email Alert: Low Home Temperature


The Low Home Temperature alert indicates that your home is not being heated and the temperature inside your home is less than 45℉/7℃.


Please take action immediately by following these steps


First, check to make sure your Sensi thermostat is set to heating mode using your app or thermostat.

         

From Your Sensi App


Open your Sensi app and make sure the word “Heat” in a circle appears in the lower-left corner of the display.

If the word “Off” appears instead, touch the word “Off” and then select “Heat” to set your thermostat to heating mode. The main screen of the Sensi app should turn red, indicating that the heating mode has been activated and your system is heating your home. 


Check the app periodically to see if the temperature in your home is increasing.   

     
     

From Your Sensi Thermostat

At your Sensi thermostat, make sure the unit is in heat mode by confirming Heat Mode is on in the bottom left-hand corner. 


If not, take the necessary steps to put your thermostat in heat mode.


After confirming your Sensi Thermostat is set to heat mode, check your vents to see if warm air is flowing and the issue has been resolved.


If warm air is not flowing from your vents, make sure your heating equipment is powered. There should be a power switch that looks like a light switch on the side of your indoor equipment. Make sure it is turned “on.”

Then, check that the door to your equipment is closed securely.

If warm air is still not flowing from your vents or you cannot find a power switch, go to your breaker box and check the breaker that controls your HVAC equipment. If the HVAC breaker has not tripped, turn it off and then back on to reset it.

After confirming your heating equipment is powered, check your vents to see if warm air is flowing and the issue has been resolved.
