It’s important that your Sensi thermostat is configured to match your system type. If not, then it may not operate your system as expected. You may be unable to switch to Heat Mode or Cool Mode using your thermostat or in the Sensi app.
To update these HVAC settings, you’ll need to be in front of the thermostat.
You can configure the thermostat through the Sensi app or, if you’re a professional, you can access the HVAC settings directly from the thermostat screen.
Using the Sensi App
- Open the Sensi app.
- Tap the + sign.
- Tap your Sensi product.
- Tap New Installation.
- Tap Is Currently Mounted.
- Follow the in-app instructions to remove the thermostat cover, enter the wires you have installed, select your heating system, and reconnect to Wi-Fi. By following these instructions, the app will setup your thermostat according to the wires you have installed and your system type.
