Troubleshooting

Room Sensor Troubleshooting

The Sensi Touch 2 is compatible with Sensi room sensors. If you’re having issues with your Sensi room sensor, here are some suggestions:

Remove the batteries from the back of the sensor and leave them out for 5-10 seconds. Then put them back in.

  • If your thermostat is already paired, allow a few minutes to reconnect.
  • If your thermostat is not paired, try connecting now.

Factory reset the room sensor

  • On the back of the room sensor, remove the back cover and press and hold the “Reset” button for 5 seconds.
  • If your thermostat was previously paired, you will need to reconnect it now.

Change the batteries.

  • Remove the 2 AAA batteries from the back of the sensor and leave them out for 5-10 seconds. Put a fresh set of batteries in.

Reduce wireless obstructions.

  • Change where the Sensi room sensor is mounted or located to reduce obstructions between the thermostat and sensor.
  • Reposition the sensor to reduce other wireless signal strength (microwaves, security cameras, utility meters, etc.) and/or minimize other physical barriers (metal, walls, etc.)
  • Refer to our sensor placement article for more suggestions.
  • Thank you for your feedback.
