Installation
The Sensi Security Code is the Sensi PIN/password used to connect your thermostat to Wi-Fi. When you connect Sensi to Wi-Fi, it will ask you for the Sensi PIN/password, and that is the Security Code.

The Security Code/Sensi PIN for the Sensi smart thermostat is the code that came on the black card or the Welcome Guide in your packaging. If you don’t have that card or guide anymore, the Security Code is located on a sticker in the upper left corner of the Sensi smart thermostat’s cover, as show below.
Using both hands, grab the thermostat and pull towards you. This will remove the thermostat cover from the wall. Flip it over and find the product sticker. You will see the Sensi Security Code listed there.
The Sensi Touch displays a dynamic PIN on the touchscreen. Simply follow the prompts in the Sensi app, and the touchscreen will display the code that you need.
The Sensi Touch 2 displays a QR code on the touchscreen after pressing connect. Simply follow the prompts in the Sensi app, and the touchscreen will display the QR code.
You can also tap “Display Pin” to see the code, and type it in manually.
To connect Sensi to Wi-Fi, you’ll need to use the QR Code.
