Account Management

I’m having trouble signing into my Sensi account?

Accessing Sensi remotely

There are two ways to control your Sensi thermostat remotely:

  • The free Sensi app
  • Sensi Multiple Thermostat Manager - The paid subscription service for commercial customers.

As a Sensi customer, you always have access to the free Sensi app to control your thermostat. If you want to control your thermostats from Sensi Manager, you must sign up and provide credit card information. If you did not sign up for Sensi Manager, you will not be able to sign in on the website, and need to sign in on the Sensi app.

Sensi Manager is only available through a web browser and is the only web access to Sensi. If you are both a Sensi app and Sensi Manager user, we recommend only using one service or the other to control your thermostats, not both, as they can conflict with each other.

Wrong email address or password

Make sure you are using your most recent password to sign in. If your email and password are correct, clear the cache and data for the Sensi App. If you are still unable to log in, check if you have a VPN enabled, if yes, please turn it off.

If you see wrong email address or password when trying to sign into Sensi Manager, most likely you have not signed up for the paid service, and only have access to the free Sensi app. Try signing into the Sensi app with the temporary password instead.

If you’re still having trouble logging into the Sensi app, refer to this article to reset your password.

The Sensi App keeps logging me out

If you have a Virtual Private Network (VPN) enabled this could be causing the Sensi App to log you out. A VPN routes your connection through different servers, which can change your IP address. This is viewed as a different user trying to access the Sensi app. For security reasons, the app responds by signing you out. Disabling the VPN can help keep the app logged in.
