How do I set up my Sensi thermostat to work with Amazon Alexa?

To get started:

1. Download the Sensi app, create a Sensi account, and register your Sensi thermostat through the Sensi app. Note: you must have a registered Sensi account to set up your thermostat to work with Amazon Alexa services.
2. Set up your Alexa-enabled device and download the Amazon Alexa app.

 

To directly control your Sensi thermostat with Amazon Alexa:

1. Open the Sensi app.
2. Tap the person icon (iOS) or the three vertical dots (Android).
3. Tap Smart Integrations.
4. Tap Amazon Alexa.
5. Tap Login with Alexa.
6. Tap Link.

Now that your Sensi thermostat is connected to your Amazon device, you can control your thermostat verbally with these commands.

*NOTE: when Alexa finds your Sensi thermostat, the Alexa app will display the thermostat by the name you have previously given your Sensi thermostat. When giving commands to your Sensi thermostat through Alexa, you will need to remember the name you’ve given your thermostat. If you want to change the name of your thermostat, you will need to do this in your Sensi app.

If you have trouble with any of these instructions, you can also sync your Sensi to Alexa from the Alexa app. 

1. Open the Alexa app.
2. Tap the + sign.
3. Select Device.
4. Tap Thermostat.
5. Select Sensi
6. Follow the prompts in the Alexa App
