How do I add a thermostat to my MTM plan?

You can always add new thermostats to your Sensi account, and adjust them inside the Multiple Thermostat Manager portal. Simply connect your Sensi as normal through the Sensi app and register it to your account. We recommend that you register all your thermostats within the 30-day free trial window. If you are past your free trial and are adding new thermostats to your account, we’ll pro-rate your next bill to account for the period that your thermostats were on your MTM account.

 

For example, if you’re on the monthly plan for $1.50/thermostat/month, and you have 10 thermostats, your monthly bill is $15. Let’s say you add 5 new thermostats to your account 10 days into your current 30-day billing cycle. Your pro-rated cost for the 5 new thermostats will be 5 thermostats x 20 days/ 30 days = $5.00. Your next bill will be $27.50 ($22.50 for 15 thermostats + $5.00 – pro-rated period from the previous billing cycle).

 

If you pay annually, it works the same way. We’ll calculate the pro-rated cost for the remainder of the year, and bill you at the end of the month for any new thermostats.
