Can I control Sensor Participation using Sensi Multiple Thermostat Manager?
Yes! Sensi Multiple Thermostat Manager allows you to control Sensor Participation of Sensi Touch 2 thermostats.
What is a Sensor Participation?
Sensi can control temperature in your home by using an average of the temperature measured at the thermostat and your sensors. This helps you reduce hot and cold spots in the rooms that you’re using most.
How to select which sensors you want to participate in the temperature average
- Log in to Multiple Thermostat Manager with your Sensi account on the Multiple Thermostat Manager dashboard
- Click on the thermostat you’d like to adjust
- On the right side, you will see a list of your indoor sensors, select the sensors you’d like to participate in the temperate average
- You may also change the name of your remote sensors. Click on the pencil icon next to the name. Make your adjustments and save.
Note: You must always have at least one sensor selected. Sensor Participation is currently only available with the Sensi Touch 2 thermostat and the Sensi Remote Sensor.
If any sensor is in a "Needs Attention" state, it will not be added to the average, and you should troubleshoot to get your sensor back online.
