Not all thermostats are the same.

Not all programmable thermostats are designed to control temperature with such precise accuracy. If you’re used to an older, less precise thermostat, you may find the room temperature reads differently with Sensi thermostat. We’ve taken this difference into consideration so a Temperature Offset feature is included in the Sensi mobile app. This feature allows you to adjust the display temperature +/- 5-degrees to make up for the difference. Also, because of Sensi’s pinpoint accuracy, your equipment may turn on and off at different rates than it did with your older thermostat. If this happens, you can adjust your cycle rate settings to suit your personal preferences. Just use the Cycle Rate feature on the Sensi app.
